Premio Innova Q for the Innovation in the Chemical Industry - AWARD

Derypol was awarded with the prize I Premio Innova Q for the Innovation in the Chemical Industry. This award is organised by the Business Federation of Spanish Chemical Industry (FEIQUE), the consulting firm Impulso and the IESE Business School.
This news means an explicit recognition to our vocation for research and work in differentiation for more than a decade. The prize has been awarded for our project to develop flocculant polymers free of acrylamide. Classic polyacrylamides are used massively all over the world in waste water treatment, paper manufacturing and other industrial applications. Acrylamide; which is the main raw material for polyacrylamides, is a toxic substance that, even at low concentrations, is always present in the final products. Our ambition is starting a new way for obtaining polymers with similar performance but now without acrylamide.
