During the month of May, we had the honor of receiving two groups of students: a 4th ESO class from the Lauro Institute, as well as a group of chemical engineering students from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). At Derypol, we are committed to the training of young people and we are excited to open our doors to future industry professionals.
The visit started with a warm welcome from our plant manager, Narcís Darnes, always willing to share his knowledge and experience with the students. After a brief presentation about our company and our products, they were given a tour of our production facilities in Les Franqueses del Vallès.
During the tour, the students were able to observe first hand how the manufacturing process of our polymers is carried out. From the reception of raw materials to the final packaging, each step was explained in detail by our experts. The students had the opportunity to see how the theoretical knowledge they are learning in the classroom is applied in a real production environment.
In addition, our engineers and technicians were happy to answer all the students’ questions and share tips and experiences about the chemical industry. It was an invaluable opportunity for the young people to gain a broader view of their potential career and be inspired by the different areas of expertise within the field of chemistry.
At Derypol, we believe that training and education are fundamental for personal and professional growth. That is why we are committed to working closely with educational institutions and offering hands-on learning opportunities to students. These visits were just one of the many activities we undertake to foster the development of young talent in our industry.
