Neutrality in GHG emissions

We are excited to share significant news from our factory in Les Franqueses del Vallès linked to our Global Commitment to CO2 Reduction. We have achieved NEUTRALITY of Greenhouse Gas emissions! This achievement has been achieved mainly through carrying out significant internal measures such as the installation of solar panels on the roofs, replacement of some wheelbarrows and bulls with electric ones, etc. and for participation in the voluntary greenhouse gas emissions compensation program, supported by the Catalan Climate Change Office. The Climate Neutral Now initiative, launched in 2015 by the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), has been our inspiration. This program encourages organizations to act now to achieve a climate neutral world by 2050, in line with the Paris Agreement. It is not a certificate, but rather a tool to promote and provide recognition for additional voluntary climate actions. At Derypol, S.A, we believe in the importance of tangible actions. To offset our emissions, we have chosen to purchase credits to finance social projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This approach not only balances our emissions, but also directly contributes to initiatives beneficial to the environment and local communities. At Derypol, S.A, we are committed to a more sustainable future and will continue to lead with concrete actions towards climate neutrality.
